Glaucoma Eye Drop

Dorzolamide HCL Eye Drops

Prescription eye drops to lower intraocular pressure in glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Dorzolamide HCL 2% eye drops are used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. As a topical carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, dorzolamide decreases the production of aqueous humor within the eye, effectively lowering pressure to help prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss. It is often used alone or with other medications such as beta-blockers or prostaglandin analogs for optimal control of intraocular pressure.
